Once again, it is that time of year when the Sleepy Hollow Presbyterian Church - Mexico Mission heads down to Mexico to build homes for those in need.
This year, the group consists of about 45 people, mostly teens from Drake High School with a few other schools mixed in, a couple of college students and 7 adult leaders.
We will be departing on Saturday June 11, at 7:00 am. We will travel by bus to San Diego. After spending the night in San Diego at the La Jolla Presbyterian Church, we will travel by rented vans into Mexico.
This year we will be working in the Rosarito Beach area. Although we did work in Rosarito about five years ago, we are working out of a new camp, so this will be a new experience for all of us.
We are looking forward to a rewarding experience for all. Thank you for your support of this mission. Please check back on a regular basis. We will try to update this page on at least a daily basis and hopefully a couple times per day, if technology allows.
